Ruth C. (Rice) Farrington

WORCESTER – Ruth C. (Rice) Farrington, 92, formerly of Meadow Lane, died Thursday, April 7, 2004, in Millbury Health Care Center, Millbury, after an illness.
Her husband, William A. Farrington, died in 1968. She leaves a daughter, Linda E. Cote of Rutland; a granddaughter, Elizabeth Farrell of Hubbardston; and a great-grandson, Zachary of Hubbardston. A brother, Warren Rice, and a sister, Margaret H. Rice, predeceased her. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Felix and Elizabeth (Houston) Rice, and lived all of her life in Worcester.
Mrs. Farrington graduated from South High School and worked many years at Denholm’s Department Store both in Worcester. She was a member of Christ the King Church.
The funeral Mass for Mrs. Farrington will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, April 12, 2004, in Christ the King Church, 1052 Pleasant Street, Worcester. Burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery, 260 Cambridge Street, Worcester. There are no calling hours. Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden, is directing arrangements.
