Biography
HOLDEN/WEST BOYLSTON – Russell C. Jacobson, 66, passed away on Sunday, April 5, 2016 at St. Francis Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Worcester after a short battle with cancer. He was born in Holden, the son of Richard O. and Lois H. (Wazilioff) Jacobson.
Russell graduated from Wachusett Regional High School where he excelled at track and later graduated from Worcester Junior College where he played basketball. He was a laborer for a moving company for several years. Russell was an avid reader, especially the morning paper with a cup of coffee and loved science fiction movies. He leaves two sisters, Carol Warrington and Sonja Richardson; and a good friend, Sandy Wiles. He was predeceased by his wife, Linda and his companion, Donna Wiles.
A committal service will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, May 23, at Worcester County Memorial Park, 217 Richards Ave., Paxton.
