S Diana R. (Repecka) Listowich

WORCESTER – Diana R. (Repecka) Listowich, 85, of Brattle Street, passed away on Thursday, January 20, 2011, after an illness in Saint Vincent Hospital.
She leaves her husband of 60 years, George H. Listowich; several nephews and nieces and grandnephews and nieces. She was born and raised in Worcester, daughter of Victor and Antose (Svilpauskas) Repecka, and lived in Shrewsbury before moving to Worcester 60 years ago.
Mrs. Listowich was a graduate of Commerce High School and Boston University. She worked for Worcester Insurance Co., now Harley Insurance, for 42 years retiring as Assistant Treasurer/Secretary in 1999. She was a member of St. George’s Church, and loved to travel and spend winters in Florida.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, January 25th, in St. George’s Church, 38 Brattle Street, Worcester. Entombment will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, 162 Webster Street, Worcester. Donations in her memory may be made to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701; or the American Lung Association, 460 Totten Pond Road, Suite 400, Waltham, MA 02451. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden.
