ATTLEBORO – Roy C. Guillet, 85, a long time resident of Attleboro and Framingham, died Friday, January 23, 2004, in the Oakdale Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center in West Boylston.
He leaves his wife of 53 years, Anne H. (Siminski) Guillet, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was born and raised in Attleboro, son of Zaccheus and Lumena (Benoit) Guillet, and lived for 40 years in Framingham before moving to West Boylston. He graduated from Attleboro High School class of 1936, Providence College and earned his MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business. He was a Marine Veteran of World War II.
Mr. Guillet was owner and president of J.B. Pinault Insurance Agency in Attleboro from 1968 to 1986. Previously he had worked for Ernst & Ernst for several years. He enjoyed model trains and Holy Cross football.
Mr. Guillet’s funeral will be held on Tuesday, January 26, 2004, from the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Mary’s Church, 114 Princeton Street, Jefferson. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, 162 Webster Street, Worcester. Calling hours are from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, January 26, 2004, in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
