Paxton – Rose M. (Grzyb) Urbanovitch, 99, died peacefully at her home on Saturday, April 2, 2022 surrounded by her loving family.
She was born and raised in Worcester, the daughter of Alexander S. and Rosalie Grzyb and graduated from Commerce High School. She married the love of her life, the late Aleck J. Urbanovitch in 1944 and the couple settled in Paxton, where they remained for the rest of their lives.
Rose was an avid gardener who also enjoyed quilting, bowling, crosswords, puzzles and watching the Red Sox. She loved traveling the country with her husband, going on many polka dancing tours and early morning trips to Foxwoods.
Rose is survived by her three children; six grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, three brothers and three sisters.
The Urbanovitch family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to Visiting Angels, especially Rose’s nurse, Linda, for her care and compassion. The family would also like to thank Care Central Hospice.
At the request of the family services for Rose will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one’s own choosing. Arrangements are under the care of Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden.
