Rose R. (Schneider) Arnold

RUTLAND – Rose R. (Schneider) Arnold, 93, passed away on Monday, October 28, 2013 at Rose Monahan Hospice Home after an illness.
Her husband of 46 years, Milton G. Arnold passed away in 1989. She leaves a daughter, Shanoah Courtney of Springfield, MO; a brother, Edward Schneider of Worcester; two grandchildren, Sean Trudell and Shannon Eastin; four great-grandchildren, Joshua, Travis, Caleb and Micah; two nieces, Gwynn Delsignore and Beth Brosnahan; a nephew, William Arnold; and her loving companion, Robert Lalone.
She was born in Berlin, Germany the daughter of Kurt and Headwig (Roskamm) Schneider and had lived most of her life in Worcester before moving to Rutland in 1961. She was a secretary at Reed & Prince Company in Worcester for several years.
A memorial service for Rose will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, November 5 at the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden. A private committal service will be held at Pine Grove Cemetery in Leicester. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Massachusetts Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired, Development office, MAB Community Services, 200 Ivy Street, Brookline, MA 02446 or to The Mass General Hospital, Cancer Center, Attn: Development Office, 165 Cambridge Street, Boston, MA 02114.
