Rosalie R. (Royal) Miller

RUTLAND – Rosalie R. (Royal) Miller, 88, of 10 Overlook Road, died peacefully at home on Monday, December 26, 2005.
She leaves her husband of 62 years, Roland “Pop” L. Miller; three sons, Leslie A. Miller of New Braintree, Stephen A. Miller of Rutland, and Richard R. Miller of North Brookfield; a daughter, Nancy E. Tucker of Hubbardston; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. A brother and three sisters predeceased her. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Arthur T. and Blanche I. (Whittermore) Royal, and lived in Rutland for the last 50 years.
Mrs. Miller graduated South High School and Salter Secretarial in Worcester. Years ago she worked for Heald Machine Company. She was a member of the First Congregational Church of Rutland.
The funeral service for Mrs. Miller will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, December 29, in the First Congregational Church, 264 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Rutland. Spring burial will be in Rural Cemetery, 142 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Rutland. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First Congregational Church Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 484, Rutland, MA 01543. Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden, is directing arrangements.
