Ronald J. Dubovick, 82, of Hyannis passed away with family by his side on March 24, 2022, at McCarthy Care Center in East Sandwich. He was born in Yonkers NY son of Nicholas Dubovick and Helen Dubovick Neils, stepson of William R. Neils.
He leaves behind his children, Anne Volk of Westminster, Diane O'Hayre and her husband Jack of Barrington RI, Denise Ackerman and her husband Craig of Leicester, Kenneth Dubovick and his wife Laurie of Rutland, Stacey Milgate of Hyannis, and Tracey Osgood and her husband Dan of Centerville. His grandchildren; Brian J. Volk and his wife Keri, Daniel Volk and his wife Sherry, Nicole Fontaine and her husband Andrew, Jacqueline O'Hayre, Alexis, James and Jared Dubovick, Ryan, Lauren and Derek Milgate, and Caitlin and Emily Osgood. His great-grandchildren Caroline, Luciana, Sophia and Abigail Volk, Jolie and Eva Volk, and Denver Van Tol. His sisters Janet Sullivan and her husband Joseph of Wingdale NY, and Helen Treco of Hemet CA. His brothers Dennis Neils of Fairfield CT and Eugene Neils and his wife Patricia of Molalla OR. Several nieces and nephews, and his pet dog Piper. He was predeceased by his wife Janet Dubovick and brothers Nicholas James Dubovick and William Neils.
Ron graduated from Saunders Trade HS in Yonkers. He served for two years in the USMC part of which he was stationed in Okinawa Japan. He worked for Anaconda Wire and Cable in Hastings NY before moving to MA where he began his 32-year career at Norton Company in the Scales Department.
Ron enjoyed Cape Cod, the ocean, and going for rides to browse the shops, take in the sights, and stop for seafood. He liked reading, watching movies, playing the organ, and being outside in the yard. Most of all he loved the time that he spent with his family.
The family would like to thank the staff at Cape Cod Hospital and McCarthy Care Center for the outstanding care and compassion they provided to Ron and his family during his final days, and his visiting nurses Jessica and Michael of Relief Home Health Services.
