Sterling - Rodney P. Rugg, 54, died unexpectedly at Leominster Hospital on Wednesday, July 8, 2020. He was born in Leominster, the son of William and Ruth (Farnsworth) Rugg and had lived most of his life in Sterling.
Rodney attended Wachusett High School and worked at several restaurants, including Country Fair Restaurant. He had also worked at Apple town Market in Sterling for a time. Rodney enjoyed watching pro wrestling and cheering for the Ice Cats at one of their games. Above all he enjoyed spending time with his family.
Rodney is survived by his brothers, Russell Rugg and his wife, Carole of Winchendon and Roger Rugg and his wife, Trish of Arizona; his sisters, Wanda Sellars of Templeton and Juanita Day of Lancaster; sister-in-law, Gloria Rugg of Sterling, as well as many nieces and nephews. Rodney was predeceased by his brother, Raymond Rugg; and his brother-in-law, Arnold Sellars Jr.
Funeral services are private and under the care of Miles-Sterling Funeral and Tribute Center, 100 Worcester Road, Sterling.
