STERLING – Roberta (Murray) Wentzell, 67, died Thursday, October 21, 2004, after a battle with cancer.
She leaves her husband, Stephen J. Wentzell; a daughter, Maureen; two sons, Michael and Paul; and three grandchildren. She was born in Worcester and lived in Sterling most of her married life.
Roberta worked part time for Hanover Insurance Company for many years. Roberta’s love was for her family, traveling and bingo.
Calling hours for Roberta are from 3 to 7 p.m. on Sunday, October 24, in the Miles-Sterling Funeral Home, 100 Worcester Road (Rte. 12), Sterling. The Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, October 25, in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery, Clinton Road (Rte. 62), Sterling. Memorial contributions may be made to the Greendale People’s Church, Greendale Station, 25 Francis Street, P.O. Box 74, Worcester, MA 01606-0074; or to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, Div. of Development and the Jimmy Fund, 10 Brookline Place West, Floor 6, Brookline MA 02445-9924.
