December 11, 1944 — July 10, 2016

PRINCETON - Robert Wesley Warren, 71, died in his home on July 10, 2016 after a long fight with cancer.  Bob was born and grew up in Shrewsbury, the son of Wesley Daniel and Hazel (James) Warren.  He was educated in the Shrewsbury schools, including a year or two in the schoolhouse that eventually became Spag's.  Bob graduated from Shrewsbury High School with the class of 1962.  He went on to be an electrician and was well know for the work he did locally and as the town electrical inspector.            Bob was a passionate and knowledgeable outdoorsman, who was as much at home in the woods as in his own house.  He was an accomplished fly fisherman, fly tyer and upland bird hunter.  He co-edited several books on fishing and fishing flies and contributed to many fly tying journals.             Bob was involved in his community throughout his life.  He worked with many others to craft the legislation that determined the use of the Quabbin reservation.  He volunteered time and expertise at the American Museum of Fly Fishing, and was a trustee of the Princeton Land Trust.             Bob is survived by his wife, Linda; his children, Allison Roche and her husband, Shawn and Dan Warren and his wife, Courtney (Reno) Warren; his grandchildren, Maggie and Riley Roche and Wesley and Dexter Warren; his sister, Gail Baldaserini; his brother, Dick and his wife, Karen; nieces and nephews, Susan and John Baldaserini and Kathy Warren; his dog, Molly and many friends.
