HOLDEN – Robert P. Bolton, Jr., 69, of Chapel Street, passed Tuesday, September 6, 2011 at UMass Memorial Healthcare, University Campus, after an illness.
His wife of 34 years, Louise E. (Stone) Bolton, passed in 1994. He leaves a son, Jason S. Bolton of Worcester; a daughter, Kimberly D. Bolton of Worcester; a sister, Linda Eaton of Florida; a granddaughter, Cheyenne Lombardi of Worcester; nephews and nieces.
He was born in Westborough, the son of Robert and Eleanor (Rappazzini) Bolton, Sr. and has lived in Holden the past 50 years. Robert was a graphic artist for many years at the George Dean Company in Boston retiring in 2007. He also was a former owner of the Emerald Isle in Worcester. He was an amazing artist especially with woodcarving and painting. He enjoyed building, gardening and landscaping.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 9th, in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden. The funeral service for Robert will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 10th, in the funeral home. Burial will be private.
