Biography
LEOMINSTER – Robert J. Morin, 69, passed away on Sunday, November 10, 2013 in Health Alliance Leominster Hospital after an illness.

His loving wife of 28 years, Shirley A. (Despres) Morin passed away on February 10, 2013. He is survived by four daughters, Lisa Tringali of Leominster, Tami Morin and her husband Carlos of Fitchburg, Caroline Landry and her husband Robert and Sharon Breault and her husband James, all of Leominster; two sons, Steven Landry and his wife Lindy of Jacksonville, FL and John Landry and his wife Sherry of Leominster; a brother, Donald Morin and foster brother, Jerry Breault both of Leominster; eleven grandchildren; two great-grandsons; his former wife, Nancy (Grenier) Morin of Shirley; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son, Scott Landry in 2007.

Robert was born and raised in Leominster, the son of Joseph G. and Rita (LeQuier) Morin. He was a machinist at several area companies including Sportsmen Tool & Die in Leominster. He was a member of the Rolls Royce Assoc., the American Model Assoc and the Fitchburg Dive Club. He enjoyed flying model planes at Fitchburg and Shirley Airports, gardening and fishing, anything to do with science and playing guitar with his band the “Moon Dogs”. He loved to travel and spend time with family and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, November 15, in the Miles-Sterling Funeral and Tribute Center, 100 Worcester Road, Sterling. The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, November 16, in the funeral home followed by a committal service at St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Jaffrey, NH.
