Biography
LANCASTER / WORCESTER - Robert M. David, 57, passed away on Thursday, January 28, 2016 at UMass Memorial Healthcare, Memorial Campus from pneumonia. He was born in Leominster, the son of George O. and June A. (Burns) David and had lived most of his life in Lancaster before moving to Worcester.
He leaves three sisters, Gail David and her spouse, Louisa, June David-Fors and her husband, Richard and Bonnie David and her fiancé, Robert Paulson, Jr.; a brother, Retired Major, James David and his wife, Dr. Sadaf Khan; two half brothers, George David and his wife, Gail and Richard David and his wife, Carol; his daughter, Amy David; and his grandson, Dylan Buck. He was predeceased by a sister, Cindy Lou.
Robert graduated from Nashoba Regional High School. He worked for many years at Weetabix in Clinton. Robert was an incredible athlete and was a talented drummer. He was well known for his wit, dry sense of humor and his compassion toward others.
Robert’s family would like to extend heartfelt appreciation for the care provided by his nurses, Jennifer Correale and Ashley Majidi. The family also wants to thank his extended family at Community Health Link, both staff and friends for embracing and changing his life.
A memorial service for Robert will be held in spring and announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Worcester Animal Rescue League, 139 Holden Street, Worcester, MA 01606.
