WORCESTER - Robert “Bobby” Fisher, 67, of Worcester, passed away on Saturday, April 12, 2025, after a courageous two-year battle with cancer.
Born and raised in Worcester, Bobby was the son of the late Attorney Lawrence H. “Larry” Fisher and Doris M. “Dolly” (Levine) Fisher. He was born on June 17, 1957, and graduated from Worcester Academy with the Class of 1975.
Bobby is survived by his sister, Elaine Fisher (Eric); his brother, Dr. William Fisher and his wife Kathy; and his beloved nephew, Maddox Fisher.
A lifelong Worcester resident, Bobby was a devoted fan of New England sports, especially the Patriots. He was an avid reader with a deep interest in spirituality, and he will be remembered fondly for his sense of humor, his gentle spirit, and his genuine kindness.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, April 16 at Worcester Hebrew Cemetery, 2 Cemetery Road, Leicester, followed by a gathering at the Jewish Healthcare Center, 629 Salisbury Street, Worcester. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Bobby’s name to Genesis Club, 274 Lincoln Street, Worcester, MA 01605.
