Robert F. "Bob" Krumpholz Iii

WORCESTER - Robert F. “Bob” Krumpholz, III of Worcester, MA, passed away on May 29, 2023 at the age of 83. Bob was the beloved husband of Adele Krumpholz for close to 48 years. He was the devoted father to Kelly Sharpe (David), Robert Krumpholz IV, Martin Krumpholz and Elizabeth Mahoney (James). He was the proud grandfather of Taylor Mahoney. He was the loving brother to Winifred Dineen of Fort Myers, Florida and brother Douglas Krumpholz, Florida. He was predeceased by sister Sandy Ullrich and brothers Gary and Terrence Krumpholz. Bob had many great times with his “in-laws” Lou Griffith (Wendy), Robert Griffith (Johana), Mary Anne Schofield (Louis) and Martha Ambros (Rick). He was an uncle to numerous nieces and nephews whom he adored. He cherished his time with family, researching the family tree and helping to organize summer reunions with his treasured Aunt Dot.

Bob was born on December 9, 1939 in Holyoke to Robert and Winifred (Gaughan) Krumpholz. He graduated from Western New England College while working at various jobs. He had a successful career spanning over 30 years in the telecommunications industry. Bob and Adele enjoyed volunteering in numerous capacities for various organizations including Abby’s House, Hospice Care and Animal Rescue groups in New England and Florida.

Bob will be greatly missed for his thoughtful caring nature and his marvelous sense of humor. Bob was a keen sports fan and followed baseball and soccer avidly.
He took great pride in his four children and was so proud of his granddaughter and was thrilled she was close by.

He loved spending time with his family and was a hero to many dogs. Bob was quietly spiritual, exploring life’s truth, meaning and purpose. The Tenets of the Unitarian Church resonated with him. He was exceptionally kind, honorable, and gentle.

His wife Adele will miss him always and will forever raise her glass in their special toast to their love.

A graveside memorial service will be held at Rural Cemetery, 180 Grove St., Worcester, MA on Tuesday, July 18, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the American Heart Association, PO Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75284-0692, or Sweet Paws, 310 Main Street, Groveland, MA 01834, or a charity of your choice. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main St., Holden.
