PAXTON/WORCESTER – Robert F. Dillman, Jr., 62, formerly of Paxton, passed away peacefully on August 1, 2016, fulfilling his wish to spend his last days at home with his wife, his pups, family and friends. He leaves his wife, Diane (Kallgren) Dillman; his mother, Beryl A. (French) Dillman of Paxton; his sister, Deborah, wife of Bruce Hohorst of Rumson, NJ; three nieces, Alyssa, Erin and Rachel. He was predeceased by his father, Robert F. Dillman, Sr. Bob lived most of his life in Paxton and moved to Worcester in 2014. He graduated from Wachusett Regional High School, Quinsigamond Community College and the Worcester Police Academy. He was a sergeant on the Paxton Police Department and a member of the Fire Department. Most recently, Bob worked as a court officer at Worcester Superior Court until his retirement in 2013. Bob’s family is grateful to Notre Dame Hospice for the care and support provided during his final days at home. The family welcomes you to a reception and remembrance gathering at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 6th at Val’s Restaurant, 75 Reservoir Street, Holden. A private committal service will be held at the convenience of the family. Following Bob’s wishes, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bob’s name to the shelter from which he adopted his much loved dogs, Beau and Brie, c/o Lawrence County Humane Society, P.O.
