WORCESTER - Robert Paul Bunewith, 81, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 11th, surrounded by his loving family.
Bob leaves his beloved wife of 58 years, Lorraine (Kennedy) Bunewith; his four daughters, Debra Roberge and partner, Richard Zamoita of Worcester, Karen O'Neil and husband, Kevin of Worcester, Laurie Fitzpatrick and husband, Kevin of West Boylston and Jill Vessella of Thompson, CT. He also leaves eight grandchildren and three great-grandsons.
Bob was a lifelong resident of Worcester who graduated from North High School and Worcester Vocational Tech. He was an Army veteran and an electrician by trade. As a devoted family man and sports enthusiast, he most enjoyed attending family activities and sporting events, vacationing at the beach and playing bingo.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather with Bob's family from 5 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, September 15, in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden. A Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, September 16, at Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 25 Fales Street, Worcester. Burial will follow at St. John’s Cemetery in Worcester.
