Robert ''Bob'' B. Love

PAXTON – Robert B. “Bob” Love, 84, died Sunday, November 7, 2004.

He leaves his wife of 58 years, Lois M. (Griffin) Love; a son, Blake Love; three daughters, Nancy L. Sinkewich, Kathy L. Rice and Robin J. Willett; a sister, Ruth A. Osachuk; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was born in Worcester on September 25, 1920, son of Robert B. and Ruth (Skinner) Love, Sr., and lived in Rutland for many years before moving to Paxton in 1961. He was an Army Veteran of World War II.

Mr. Love owned and operated Robert B. Love Real Estate for 40 years in Holden. He was a member of the Rutland and Paxton Police and Fire Departments. He was a member of Rufus Putnam Lodge and was a 32nd degree Mason and a member of the Scottish Rite Bodies. He was a member of the First Congregational Church of Paxton. He also belonged to many Real Estate boards and was a long time member of the Worcester Board of Realtors. He enjoyed spending time in North Conway, New Hampshire, golfing, tennis, skiing and especially riding trains across the country.

Family and friends are invited to Mr. Love’s burial at 12 noon on Wednesday, November 10, 2004 in Rural Cemetery, 142 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Rutland. A Memorial service will follow at 1 p.m. in the First Congregational Church of Paxton,1 Church Street, Paxton. There are no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Congregational Church of Paxton, 1 Church Street, Paxton, MA 01612. Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden, is directing arrangements.
