Rita M. Brown

WEST BOYLSTON, MA – Rita M. (Hildreth) Brown, 79 of 33 Scarlett Street, died July 27, 2004 in UMass Memorial Medical Center, Memorial Campus.

She leaves her husband of 21 years, Frank A. Brown; a son Donald W. Harding and a daughter Susan E. Eckert both of Sterling; two grandchildren, Scott and Sheri Belville. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Harry F. and Winifred M. (Dighton) Hildreth.

She graduated from South High School and Salter Secretarial School. She had worked at WCIS Bank for 24 years retiring in 1984 as Asst. Director of Human Resources. She was a member of the First Congregational Church of West Boylston and served on various boards. She was also a member of the board of directors for the West Boylston Historical Society and served on the board of Elder Services in town.

The Memorial service for Mrs. Brown will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 30, 2004 in the First Congregational Church of West Boylston. There are no calling hours. Burial will be private in Mt. Vernon Cemetery.
