Rita L. (Bregola) Hall

WEST BOYLSTON – Rita L. (Bregola) Hall, 88, of West Boylston died peacefully on Sunday, December 18, 2005 in Autumn Village in Worcester.

Her husband of 53 years, Roger W. Hall, Sr., died in 1991. She leaves her son, Roger W. Hall, Jr. and his wife Althea “Dolly” of West Boylston; a brother, Robert Briggs of New York City; two sisters, Marie Carney of Oxford and Doris Simonelli and her husband Robert of Shrewsbury; two grandchildren, Todd W. Hall and his wife Angela of Leominster and Robin E. Hall of Hudson, NH; a great-grandson, Thomas W. Hall of Leominster; several nieces and nephews. A daughter, Patricia A. Hall of West Boylston died in 2001. Her sister, Agnes Dillon, also predeceased her. She was born in Worcester the daughter of Elmer and Annie (O’Malley) Bregoda and lived all of her life in West Boylston.

Mrs. Hall worked at the former Cutler’s Clothing Store in Worcester for 28 years. She was a member of the First Congregational Church of West Boylston and its Mr. and Mrs. Club, the Beaman Oak Garden Club, West Boylston Historical Society, Friends of the West Boylston Council on Aging, West Boylston Firefighters Women’s Auxiliary and the Wachusett Chapter Order of Eastern Star, formerly of Holden. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and ceramics.

The funeral service of Mrs. Hall will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, December 21, in the First Congregational Church of West Boylston. Spring burial will be in Mt. Vernon Cemetery, Church Street, West Boylston. Calling hours are from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, December 20, in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First Congregational Church of West Boylston, 26 Central Street, West Boylston, MA 01583; or a charity of one’s choice.
