Sterling/Clinton - It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Richard J. Studley, Jr., aged 57, who peacefully departed this world at home on Monday, January 22, 2024. Born in Clinton, he was the beloved son of Judith A. (LaPalme) Studley and the late Richard J. Studley, Sr.
Richard was raised in Sterling and graduated from Montachusett Regional Vocational Technical High School. He found joy in working with his hands and pursued a fulfilling career in carpentry. An avid outdoorsman, Richard's happiest moments were spent fishing, snowmobiling, and landscaping. His generous spirit and willingness to help others were well-known among those who knew him.
Richard was predeceased by his father, Richard J. Studley, Sr., in 2008. He leaves behind cherished memories and will be lovingly missed by his daughter, Samantha Marrama of Southbridge; his mother, Judith A. (LaPalme) Studley of Sterling; his sister, Heidi Gallant, and her husband, Kenneth of Sterling; his uncle, Stephen LaPalme of White River Junction, VT; his niece, Danielle Gallant; as well as many cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, January 28, 2024 at Miles-Sterling Funeral and Tribute Center, 100 Worcester Rd., Sterling. Interment will be private at a later date. Please omit flowers.
