Richard C. Solomon

LAUDERDALE LAKES, FL – Richard Solomon, aged 77, died Thursday October 5, 2023, at a nursing home in Lauderdale Lakes, Florida. Born in Worcester, Richard was the son of Bennett and Gertrude (Alpert) Solomon and lived in Lauderdale Lakes, FL. for more than 40 years. While in Worcester he owned and operated Sparkle Car Wash as well as owning real estate. He later owned real estate in Florida. He enjoyed antique cars and playing poker. He also enjoyed listening to music of the 50’s and 60’s.

Amongst his survivors are Gerald Lazarus, Bennett Lazarus, Bronwyn Leviton, Bruce Solomon, and Steven Solomon. He was predeceased by his sisters, Diane Lazarus and Linda Miller, and his brother, David Solomon.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, October 11, 2023, at Worcester Hebrew Cemetery, Cemetery Rd, Auburn. Memorial donations can be made to Yeshiva Achei Tmimim, 22 Newton Avenue, Worcester, MA, 01602. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Richard Perlman of Miles Funeral Home 1158 Main Street, Holden.
