Holden - Richard "Dick" Raymond Perrault, 79 of Holden passed away after a brief illness on Sunday November 14th at his home in Holden. Dick was the son of Conrad and Alicia Perrault originally from Nashua N.H. where he graduated from Nashua High School and entered into the Army National Guard for several years. A printer by trade, Dick also drove tractor trailer trucks for a time, owned and managed Maria Motel in Essex in the 1980’s, and spent 25 years in Florida where he built a successful business in the gift industry with his soul mate of 45 years Ann Morando.
Dick is survived by his partner, Ann Morando; sister, Sandra Lavoie and husband, Ronald; son, Kevin Perrault and wife, Cynthia; granddaughter, Samantha Perrault; Ann’s children, Patricia Powers and husband, Paul, Lisa Trotto and husband, Rocco, Donna Monahan and Peter; their children and grandchildren.
Dick was very loved for his generous kind friendly spirit and sense of humor making light of life’s challenges and accepting others with love and compassion. He lived a selfless lifestyle taking care of others in ways that go beyond usual expectations. Dick will always be missed by his family and loved ones as a wonderful man who was kind, giving, and compassionate.
A Mass of Christian Burial honoring and celebrating Dick's life will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at St. Columba’s Catholic Church. Meet at the Church located on 10 Richards Ave., Paxton, which will be followed by a burial at Grove Cemetery, 1520 Main Street in Holden. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main St., Holden.
