Biography
GARDNER - Richard Allen Ostroff, 81, of Gardner, died on Friday, May 20, in the Gardner Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.
He leaves a brother, Melvin Ostroff and his wife, Paula of Rockville, MD; a sister, Barbara Rose of Gardner; and several nieces and nephews including, Steven Ostroff and his wife, Katherine of Leominster, Sharyn Rose and her wife, Amy Rose of Somerville, Lisa Ostroff, wife of Read deButts of Arlington, VA and Cathi Cohen of Vienna, VA.
He was a graduate of Harvard University and was a member of 1636 Society of Harvard. With his brother he was a co-founder and treasurer of Standard Chair of Gardner.
FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD A 4:00PM ON SUNDAY, MAY 22 IN TEMPLE EMANUEL SINAI, 661 SALSIBURY STREET, WORCESTER UNDER THE DIRECTION OF RICHARD PERLMAN OF MILES FUNERAL HOME OF HOLDEN. Burial will be in Worcester Hebrew Cemetery, Cemetery Road, Auburn.
Memorial Observance will be held at the time of the funeral service.
