HOLDEN/WORCESTER – Richard F. Davis, 77, passed away on Thursday, December 10, 2020 at St. Vincent Hospital after an illness.
He leaves his loving wife of 54 years, Rose M. (Gabree) Davis; his daughters, Kathleen Pogue of Martha’s Vineyard and Sharon Vincent of Arkansas; six grandchildren, Michael Davis of Holden, Crystal Berard of Gardner, Paige, Molly, and Spencer Pogue all of Martha’s Vineyard, Alexandra Pogue of Pemberton, BC Canada; eight great-grandchildren, Elizabeth, Viktorya, Tessie, Cassie, Quentin, Hannah, Veronica, and Delores; and several nieces and nephews.
Richard was born in Worcester, the son of the late Raymond and Irene (Brodeur) Davis, and had lived in Worcester before moving to Holden sixteen years ago. He worked at TJ Maxx in Worcester for many years, was an avid Patriots fan, and enjoyed heading out to the casinos when he could.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours from 1 to 3 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 13th in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden. Facial masks and social distancing are required. A private committal service will be held at Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
