LEICESTER – Richard C. Nieuwenhoff, 60, of 5 Town Beach Road, died Wednesday, July 6, 2004 in the Meadows after a year long illness.
He leaves two sons, Drew J. Nieuwenhoff and Matthew C. Nieuwenhoff both of Southbridge; five daughters, Tracy A. Dion of Uxbridge, Sheri L. Nieuwenhoff of Southbridge, Cindy L. Lamica of Dudley, Tami J. Hale of Worcester and Corrie A. Nieuwenhoff of Southbridge; a sister, Linda A. Watkins of Charlton; his father, Arnold Nieuwenhoff of Sutton; and 11 grandchildren. He was born in Worcester, son of Arnold and Wanda (Arnberg) Nieuwenhoff, and lived in Brookfield and Leciceter.
Mr. Nieuwenhoff was a graduate of Wachusett High School and worked for Engineering Plastics Inc. of Westboro. He enjoyed boating, fishing, his C.B. radio and shortwave.
A graveside service for Mr. Nieuwenhoff will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, July 9, in Grove Cemetery, 1290 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden. There are no calling hours. Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden, is directing arrangements.
