S Beatrice R. (Gaucher) Marsh

HOLDEN – Beatrice R. (Gaucher) Marsh, 98, of Reservoir Street died peacefully at the Oakdale Nursing and Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center, West Boylston, on Thursday, December 31, 2009.

Her husband, George Marsh died in 1988. She is survived by her two daughters, Barbara (Marsh) Pirani and her husband Albert of Holden and Elizabeth (Marsh) Hanson and her husband Michael of Princeton; five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and a niece. She is predeceased by three brothers, Alcide, Armand, and Emile Gaucher, and two sisters, Annette Thibodeau and Leona Withstanley. She was born in Worcester, the daughter of Oliver and Albina (Dion) Gaucher. Mrs. Marsh lived in Holden for 54 years before moving to West Boylston in 2003. She worked in the cafeteria at Wachusett Regional High School for many years. She was a devoted wife and mother and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

A private funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family. Please omit flowers. Donations may be made to the St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden.
