PAXTON – Donald R. Faucher, 78, of West Street, died on Monday, September 27, 2010 in UMass Memorial Healthcare-University Campus, Worcester.
His wife of 53 years, Jeanne R. (Charbonneau) Faucher, died in 2003. He is survived by his son, Donald R. Faucher, Jr. and his wife Linda of Spencer; two daughters, Debra A. Faucher of Fair Oaks, California and Kimberly S. Faucher of Worcester; a brother, Richard Faucher and his wife Elna of Paxton; two grandchildren, Keith and Jamie Faucher; five great-grandchildren; and five nephews. A brother, Robert Faucher of Paxton, predeceased him.
Don was born in Worcester, a son of Wilfred and Stella (Rock) Faucher, and lived in Paxton all of his life. He was a third generation plasterer and owner & operator of Faucher Brothers Plastering for over 50 years. He was a member of St. Columba Church and the Worcester Lodge of Elks #243 on Mill Street. He enjoyed working in his yard and dancing with his loving companion of four years, Virginia Hart of Hudson.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, September 30th, in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, October 1st, at Mooreland Cemetery, 251 Richards Avenue (Rte. 56), Paxton. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
