Renee Q. Graca

October 5, 1965 — March 13, 2025

STERLING - Renée Québec Graça, 59, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Thursday, March 13, 2025 at UMass Memorial Health Alliance Hospital in Leominster. Born in Jamaica Plain, Renée was raised in Maynard the daughter of Edward and Hope (Richmond) Québec and lived in Hudson before moving to Sterling in 2003.

Renée will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 28 years, Alberto S. Graça; her children, Tomielee Q. Graça of Ashburnham and Monique Q. Graça of Sterling; her brother, Mark Québec of Phillipston; two sisters, Michelle Québec of Hudson and Terry Québec of Cuba, NM; nephews and nieces.

She was a graduate of Assabet Valley Regional Vocational Technical High School in Marlborough. She worked over 25 years in the Hudson Public School system.

Renée's family remembers her as a social butterfly who cherished being surrounded by loved ones. She especially enjoyed hosting family gatherings, with the holidays holding a special place in her heart. She found joy bringing everyone together to create laughter and memories. She was an avid reader, and you rarely caught her without her Kindle in her hands.

She had a vibrant spirit and loved staying active, sharing her passion as a fitness instructor at Elevation Fitness in Boylston. Some of her happiest moments were spent hiking with her beloved husband, Alberto, and escaping to Brewster on Cape Cod, where she found peace and joy walking along the beach. The ocean's gentle waves and salty breeze brought her a deep sense of relaxation, making it one of her favorite places to be. Renée found great joy in preparing for the spring arrival of hummingbirds and spending time watching their graceful visits.

She also loved exploring New England, where she delighted in discovering charming wineries and enjoying the beauty of the region with her Husband. Her love, warmth, and boundless energy will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Renee's family from 6 to 8 pm on Friday, March 21 at Miles-Sterling Funeral and Tribute Center, 100 Worcester Rd., Sterling.
