Reginald ''Mickey'' G. Gelinas

WORCESTER – Reginald “Mickey” G. Gelinas, 68, of 117 Santoro Road, died on Tuesday, December 12, 2006, in UMass Memorial Helath care after a brief illness.

He leaves two daughters, Kristin J. Gelinas of Wenham and Sarah C. Gelinas of Inverness, Florida; his former wife, Susan B. Gelinas of West Boylston; a brother, Roland Gelinas of Worcester; two sisters, Marilyn McCall of Holden and Elizabeth Collins and her husband George of Worcester; 8 nieces and nephews, Patricia Jones and her husband Larry, Donald McCall, Daniel McCall and his wife Janet, George Collins, Larry Collins and his wife Sandra, Diane Wise and her husband Gary, Thomas and Wade Collins; 12 great nieces and nephews; aunts, uncles and cousins. He was born in Worcester the son of Reginald E. and Elizabeth Mae (Hicks) Gelinas and lived here all of his life.

Mr. Gelinas attended Worcester Public Schools and was was a traffic manager for J-Von, Inc. in Leominster for 21 years retiring in 2003. Previously he worked 23 years for Worcester Toy Company. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War.

A Memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, December 15, in the First Baptist Church of Worcester, 111 Park Avenue, Worcester. Burial will be private in St. John's Cemetery, 260 Cambridge Street, Worcester. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the UMass Memorial Foundation - Cancer Research Fund, 365 Plantation Street, Suite 100, Worcester, MA 01605-2395.
