WORCESTER, MA / MT. LAUREL, N.J. – Raymonde L. (Sylvain) Martel, formerly of Worcester and Bedford, died Thursday, March 19, 2009 in New Jersey after an illness.
She leaves her beloved husband Raymond J. Martel; a daughter, Lynn Shuster; a son William Martel; and two grandchildren, Amanda Shuster and Nicole Martel.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, March 26th in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden. A calling hour will be held at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 27th in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, 217 Richards Avenue (Rte. 56), Paxton. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be sent to UMass Memorial Foundation, Cancer Research Fund, 365 Plantation Street, Suite 100, Worcester MA 01605.
