Biography
WORCESTER – Raymond Sachs, 93, died on Friday, July 31, 2015 in Rose Monahan Hospice Home in Worcester.
Mr. Sachs was born in Cairo, Egypt, the son of the late Maurice and Rachel (Menahem) Sachs, and had spent the last 50 years of his life in Worcester.
He leaves his two children, Maurice Sachs and Sheila Edison, both of Worcester; six grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren. He was pre-deceased by his loving wife, Rosette (Bendao) Sachs, and his four brothers and one sister.
Raymond was the manager of the micro film department of the Spaulding Company in Worcester. He retired from Spaulding after 33 years. He was a member of the Yeshiva Achei Tmimim.
FUNERAL SERVICES WERE HELD YESTERDAY AT THE YESHIVA ACHEI TMIMIM IN WORCESTER FOLLOWED BY THE BURIAL AT HOLY SOCIETY CEMETERY ON HAVANA ROAD IN LEICESTER. FUNERAL ARRANGMENTS ARE UNDER THE DIRECTION OF RICHARD PERLMAN OF MILES FUNERAL HOME OF HOLDEN.
