WEST BOYLSTON – Raymond E. Morin, age 98, died peacefully on Thursday, May 30, 2024, at the Rose Monahan Hospice Home in Worcester, surrounded by the loving presence of his family.
Born in Laconia, NH, Ray was the son of Edward and Odile (Chabot) Morin.
Ray worked for many years as a printer at Colonial Press. He was an avid collector of clocks, particularly vintage American banjo clocks. He was also a U.S. Navy Veteran.
Ray will be lovingly missed and remembered by his devoted wife of 71 years, Irene (Nowak) Morin of West Boylston; his grandchildren, Amanda Mitchell and her husband Justin; Eric Carpenter, and Mary Morin; his great-grandchildren, Marley, Aria, Aiden, Carter, & Kali; his son-in-law Dale Carpenter and his daughter-in-law Mariane Morin. He was predeceased by his son Glenn Morin in 2016, and his daughter Lisa (Morin) Carpenter in 2023.
Services will be private. Interment will be at Mt. Vernon Cemetery in West Boylston. Arrangements are under the care of Miles-Sterling Funeral & Tribute Center.
