WORCESTER – Irene R. (Maurais) Anderson Langlois, 92, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 6, 2007 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Octave and Bernadette (Cournoyer) Maurais of Canada.
She leaves her sons, Douglas W. Anderson and his wife Joyce of Princeton, C. Steven Anderson and his wife Patricia of West Boylston and M. Kenneth Anderson and his wife Nicole of Albuquerque; a sister, Yvonne Frew of Auburn; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Her second husband, Raymond Langlois, her first husband, Verner Anderson, and her daughter, Gail A. Anderson, all predeceased her.
Although a lifelong resident of Worcester, she moved to Albuquerque in 2003 to live with her son, Kenneth and his family. She was a dental assistant for many years in Worcester and cared for her daughter, Gail for several years prior to Gail’s own death. Her warmth, nurturing, and self-effacing ways will be missed.
A graveside service for Irene will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 13th, at All Faith’s Cemetery, Worcester. The family requests that you honor Irene by adopting her philosophy of life and always love the Lord just as she did. Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden, is directing arrangements.
