Ralph K. Oslund

HOLDEN – Ralph K. Oslund, 74, passed away on Thursday, May 24, 2012 at UMass Memorial Healthcare - Memorial Campus in Worcester after an illness.
He leaves his wife of 47 years, Carol A. (Golas) Oslund; a son, Nathan J. Oslund of Holden; a daughter, Kristine M. Swift of Ware; a granddaughter, Cassandra M. Hankinson of Worcester; a future great-grandchild in October; and a nephew and three nieces. A brother, Robert R. Oslund predeceased him.
Ralph was born in Worcester, the son of Robert V. and Margaret E. (Krook) Oslund and lived in Holden for over 40 years. He was a handyman by trade who owned his own landscaping business. He was an avid fisherman but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family.
The family would like to thank all those who helped and supported them during Ralph’s illness, especially Lee Jr., Cookie and Nina.
Funeral services are private and will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the UMass Memorial Foundation, Cancer Research, 333 South Street, Shrewsbury, MA 01545. Arrangements are under the care of Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden.
