WEST BOYLSTON – Raffaela W. (Lopriore) DeMarco, 97, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 after a brief illness.
Raffaela was born and raised in Worcester, the daughter of Joseph and Annie (Tantimonica) Lopriore. She met the love of her life and married Mario A. DeMarco in 1955 and together they raised their loving family.
Her loving husband of 53 years, Mario A. DeMarco, passed away in 2008. She leaves her son, James L. DeMarco and his wife, Linda of Holden; her daughter, Laurie A. Colorio of West Boylston; five grandchildren, Elizabeth and her husband, Aiman, Andrew, Emily, Rebecca and Jessica; four great-grandchildren, Zaid, Amelia, Tariq and Zayna; her sister, Laura Colombo of Worcester; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her grandson, James; her brother, Michael; and her four sisters, Rose, Mary, Antoinette and Rita.
Funeral services for Raffaela will be private and held at the convenience of the family at the Mass Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery in Winchendon.
