Biography
WORCESTER – Priscilla (Duckworth) Higgins, died on October 3, 2016. Her beloved husband, Francis Higgins of 62 years, passed away in March 2005.
She leaves three daughters, Sandra L. Norcross, wife of Merl Norcross of Brant Lake, New York, Cathy Shill of Yuma, Arizona and Beth A. Lazaros of Uxbridge; 5 grandchildren, Christopher and Jeffrey Norcross, Nicholas Wilson, and Crista and Alan Lazaros; and four Great Grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brother, Donald Duckworth of Westborough.
Priscilla was born in Worcester, the daughter of Herbert and Sadie (Munroe) Duckworth. She graduated from Gould Academy in Bethel Maine and Bradford Junior College in 1941. She and her husband enjoyed many summers in Gilford, New Hampshire where they enjoyed dancing and swimming.
The family would like to acknowledge their appreciation to the staff at Knollwood Nursing Center for their thoughtful and devoted care.
