S Pauline 'Polly' Praskiewicz

August 24, 1920 — April 4, 2007

WORCESTER – Pauline “Polly” M. (Ridley) Praskiewicz, 86, of Hapgood Road, died at home surrounded by her family and friends on Wednesday, April 4, 2007, after a long illness.

Her husband of 50 years, Walter S. Praskiewicz, died in 1999. She is also predeceased by her parents, Ellen G. (Ginn) and James E. Ridley, and a brother, Percival Ridley. She leaves her three sons, W. Edmund Praskiewicz of Escazu, Costa Rica, Peter R. Praskiewicz of Worcester and Ronnie S. Praskiewicz of Spencer; and a sister, Louise McGowan Flagg of Worcester. She graduated from North High School in 1938. For many years, she was a secretary for Sessions Casket Company and after retirement, worked for Doherty High School, both in Worcester. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Worcester. Polly enjoyed life to its fullest with her family, friends and pets. She was an avid supporter of her sons in their little league games and boy scouts.

A Celebration of Life service for Mrs. Pauline "Polly" M. (Ridley) Praskiewicz will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 18th, 2007 in her family home at 37 Hapgood Road, Worcester. Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden is directing arrangements.
