Phyllis L. (Rezeszotarski) Bolduc

September 14, 1932 — February 26, 2016

RUTLAND – Phyllis L. (Rezeszotarski) Bolduc, 83, passed away on Friday, February 26, 2016 at Holden Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center after an illness. She was born in Emmet, NE, the daughter of Gains and Ethel (Shrunk) Rezeszotarski and had lived in Nebraska before moving to Rutland sixty years ago.


Phyllis was a claims representative for 30 years at the Social Security office in Fitchburg. Previously, she worked at Rutland Heights Hospital. She was a member of the First Congregational Church of Rutland and its pastoral Committee, the Rutland Boy Scouts Committee and volunteered for 16 years for Meals on Wheels. Phyllis was a hardworking devoted wife, mother and grandmother who loved to spend time with her family. In her leisure, she enjoyed ceramics, crafts, gardening, flowers, making clothing and feeding the birds.



She leaves her loving husband of 60 years, Robert J. Bolduc; two sons, David L. Bolduc and his wife, Leona of Fairfax, VA and Michael P. Bolduc of Rutland; her grandson, Alexander M. Bolduc of Newton; and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Donald Rezeszotarski.



Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours from 5 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, March 2, in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden. Funeral services for Mrs. Bolduc will be held on Thursday, March 3, at 11:30 a.m. in the First Congregational Church of Rutland, 264 Main Street. A committal service will be held in the spring at Rural Cemetery in Rutland. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
