Holden - Phyllis May Bousquet (Charbonneau) age 91 passed away December 17, 2023, at Central Bedford Memorial Hospital, VA with her daughters Linda and Lori at her side. Her last known address was Colony Retirement Apartments in Holden for 6 years.
She leaves four daughters; Linda Shaw from Thaxton, VA, Lori Bailey from Body Camp, VA, Debra Deangelis from Rotunda West, FL and Donna Warrington, Rutland Phyllis' beloved husband George died in 2013 and beloved son George (Gig) died in 1992. Bernie Handy, her lifelong friend of 68 years was her closest friend. She leaves 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Phyllis loved to dance and taught classes for children in 1968 and held a recital showing her talents through her students. As a young women she worked for Worcester Telegram and Gazette as a secretary for several years. Her greatest accomplishment in the workforce was her years working for Rutland Heights Hospital in medical files to senior payroll clerk.
Funeral services are private and under the care of Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden.
