Phyllis R. (Antarsh) Chase

WESTBOROUGH – Phyllis R. (Antarsh) Chase age 86, beloved mother and grandmother, died on Thursday, October 7, 2021 surrounded by her loving children at The Residence at Orchard Grove in Shrewsbury.
She leaves a son, Larry Chase and his wife, Laurie of Southborough, a daughter, Amy Chase, wife of John Cryan of Shrewsbury and six grandchildren; Emily, Noah, and April Cryan; Sydney, Joshua and Eli Chase.
Phyllis was a beautiful and vibrant woman who loved life. She was born in West Hartford, CT, and was a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania where she studied dental hygienics. With her husband Lewis Chase, she owned and operated Chase Paper CO. in Westborough for many years.

She enjoyed traveling, gardening, and time spent with her family. She was an excellent cook whose recipes are used by her family today. In her later years, she enjoyed playing mahjong and attending a local book club.
Private graveside funeral services will be held in B’Nai Brith Cemetery in Worcester under the direction of Richard Perlman of Miles Funeral Home of Holden.
