Peter A. Levenson

Peter A. Levenson, 87, formally of Worcester, passed away peacefully on January 31, 2024, surrounded by family. He was the loving husband of Eileen (Cohen) for over 62 years. He was born in New Bedford to the late Aven and Sophie (Jaffee) Levenson.
Peter was a devoted teacher and Department Head at Doherty Memorial High School for many years.
Peter was a cherished husband, father, and grandfather. In addition to his wife, he will be missed and remembered by his five children; Sharon (Howie) Levin, Judi (Alan) Handel, David (Stefanie) Levenson, Beth (Dave) Fox, and Steven (Jaliz) Levenson, as well as his grandchildren; Alyssa, Andrew, Sam, Lauren, Leah, Sara, Javen, and Leilani. In addition to his parents, Peter was predeceased by his grandson Adam.
A graveside service will be held privately at B'nai Brith Cemetery in Worcester. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Massachusetts, 10 Riverside Drive, Suite 201, Lakeville, MA 02347, or a charity of the donor's choice.
