STURBRIDGE – Peter J. Lemieux, 50, of 51 South Shore Dr., went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 3, 2005, after an illness.
He leaves his wife, Tracey L. (Charbonneau) Lemieux; five children, Jason R. Lemieux of Warren, Zachary P. Lemieux of Brookfield and Jillian E. Lemieux, Timothy and Molly Shea all of Sturbridge; three brothers, Paul A. Lemieux of Waltham, Philip L. Lemieux of North Brookfield and Stephen R. Lemieux of East Brookield; his parents, Joseph L. and Alice (Masterson) Lemieux; a grandson, Ryan Lemieux of Warren; aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and nieces. He was born in Ware and was raised in North Brookfield where he lived until moving to Sturbridge in 1985.
Peter graduated from Holy Name High School and from Assumption College in 1977. He was a manager at Lightbridge Corporation in Burlington for the past five years. He was a member of the Holden Chapel and enjoyed camping, golfing and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. He was a former volunteer firefighter for the Town of North Brookfield.
The funeral service for Peter will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, December 8, in Holden Chapel, 279 Reservoir Street (Rte. 31), Holden. Burial will be in the spring at Walnut Grove Cemetery, Elm Street, North Brookfield. Calling hours are from 4 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, December 7 in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wachusett Food Pantry, P.O. Box 62, Jefferson, MA 01522; or Dana Farber Cancer Institute, 44 Binney Street, Boston, MA 02115.
