HOLDEN – Peter Harrington Packard, 65, of Flagler Drive, died at home on Monday, April 19, 2010.
He leaves his son, Aaron Packard and his wife Stacy Stevenson Packard of Leominster; three brothers, Charles Packard of Westhampton, Robert Packard of Princeton and David Packard of Goshen; a sister, Constance Hayden of Rutland; 3 grandchildren, Christine, Nicholas and Madisyn and nephews and nieces. He was born in Plymouth, a son of Theodore H. and Marion (Wishart) Packard, and has lived in Holden most of his life.
Peter was a 1962 graduate of Wachusett Regional High School. He worked at Polar Beverages, Inc. in Worcester and previously worked at Meola’s Dairy in West Boylston.
A memorial service for Peter will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 24th, in the Warren Chapel at the First Congregational Church of Holden, 1180 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden, followed by a gathering in church hall. Burial will be private in Grove Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701. Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden, is assisting the family with arrangements.
