Paxton - Peter G. Bogren, Sr., 80, died peacefully at home on Sunday, January 8, 2023. He was born in Holden, the son of Benny and Dagny (Paulson) Bogren and grew up in the Greendale section of Worcester.
Peter attended Worcester Boy's Trade School and had a lifelong passion for classic cars. He went on to own Middle River Corp. in Paxton, a company specializing in repair, restoration and sales of antique and classic cars, until his retirement in 2020. Peter worshiped at Holden Chapel for many years where he leaves many close friends. In his leisure time Peter enjoyed auto racing and cross-country adventures with his wife in their motor home visiting 49 of our 50 states.
Peter will be lovingly missed and remembered by his wife of 60 years, Mary L. (Rengo) Bogren; his son, Peter Bogren, Jr. of Paxton; his daughter, Leslie Bogren; his grandchildren, Caleb and Riley Bogren; his great-grandson, Magnus Bogren; his pups, Lucky Eddy and Harley; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son, Glenn Bogren and his brother, Jon Benny Bogren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service honoring and celebrating Peter's life at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at Holden Chapel, 279 Reservoir St., Holden.
