S Penelope 'Penny' Nordborg

HOLDEN – Penelope I. "Penny" (Bissonnette) Nordborg, 69, died Friday, February 20, 2009 at home, peacefully in her sleep.

Her loving husband of 48 years, Paul E. Nordborg, died January 16, 2009. She leaves her daughter, Kristina Nordborg and her children Amanda and Emily of Holden; a son, John Nordborg of Holden; two brothers, Bruce and Dwight; four sisters, Janice, Irene, Pamela and Alexis; three sister-in-law's, Eleanor, Jane and Grace; several nephews and nieces. She is predeceased by her brother Stephen. She was born in Worcester the daughter of Percy J. and Irene C. (Dailly) Bissonnette and graduated Wachusett Regional High School in 1959. Penny was a loving wife and mother with many gifts and talents.

Calling hours are from 5 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, February 24th, in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden. The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, February 25th, in the funeral home with burial following in Worcester County Memorial Park, 217 Richards Avenue (Rte. 56), Paxton.
