Peggy L. (Calcia) Charette

HOLDEN - Peggy L. (Calcia) Charette, 63, passed away and gained her wings at St. Vincent Hospital on August 16, 2021, surrounded by family and friends. She was born in Clinton, the daughter of the late Ernest A. and Ruth A. (Thomas) Calcia and had lived in Princeton before moving to Holden.

Peg graduated from Wachusett Regional High School and worked in the insurance industry as an adjuster, supervisor, mentor and trainer. She worked at Hanover, MSA and American Family Insurance. Peg enjoyed traveling, crafts, scrapbooking and watching movies with her cats. A caring person by nature, Peg cherished her time she spent with her husband, nieces, nephews and friends.

Peg leaves her beloved husband of 34 years, Steven H. Charette; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and co-workers. She was predeceased by her brother, David E. Calcia.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours from 2 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, August 22nd in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, August 23rd in St. Mary's Church, 114 Princeton Street, Jefferson. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery in Sterling.
