Biography
HOLDEN - Pearl E. (McDonald) Tetreault, 82, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, May 16, 2014, after an illness. Born and raised in Whitinsville, Pearl was the daughter of Edward A. and Marion (Williams) McDonald and lived in Worcester before moving to Holden in 1973.
Pearl graduated from North High School in Worcester and worked for State Mutual Life Assurance Co. in Worcester for 36 years retiring as a senior claim examiner in 1986. She was a member of St. Christopher Church in Worcester. Her interests included bowling, dancing and tennis. Pearl enjoyed being in the company of others and will be fondly remembered for her engaging personality.
She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Eugene W. Tetreault; a sister, Marion Sheehan of Holden; several nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by two brothers, Edward and Daniel McDonald.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Pearl's family from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 21, at the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main St., Holden, followed by a procession to Saint Christopher Church, 950 West Boylston St., Worcester, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12 noon. Interment will be held at Mount Vernon Cemetery in West Boylston. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Saint Christopher Church, 950 West Boylston St., Worcester, MA 01606.
