PRINCETON – Pauline M. (Glode) Wambach, 79, of 41 Esty Road, died Friday July 2, 2004, in St. Vincent Hospital, Worcester, after being stricken ill at home.
Her husband of 57 years, Clyde G. Wambach, died May 8, 2003. She leaves two daughters, Sandra L. Dano and her husband Wayne of Princeton, and Marsha J. Perry and her husband Ronald of Oakham; four grandchildren, Robert Creamer, Laura Tupper, Danielle and Stephen Dano; and two great-grandchildren. She was born in Claremont, New Hampshire, the daughter of Charles P. Glode, and lived in Princeton 51 years.
Mrs. Wambach graduated from David Hale Fanning Trade High School in Worcester and was the Elementary School Lunch Manager in Princeton for many years. She was a member of the First Congregational Church of Princeton, its Couples and Friendship Clubs. She was a member of the Neighborhood Club and was active in local senior centers including Princeton. She enjoyed baking, knitting and embroidering.
The funeral service for Mrs. Wambach will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 7, in Miles-Sterling Funeral Home, 100 Worcester Road (Rte. 12), Sterling. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Connor Lane, Princeton. Calling hours are from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 6, in the funeral home.
